Dual Credit in High Schools

Partnerships between NWTC and area school districts allow students to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously through a variety of programs . Over the last five years , there has been striking growth in the number of students earning NWTC dual credit and , subsequently , the number of credits earned . Researchers have identified numerous advantages to earning dual credit including cost savings , early entry to career pathways , decreased college remediation , reduced time to degree completion , and stronger postsecondary outcomes .
