DSS Work Experience/
Summer Internship Programme
The Disability Support Service has set up a Work Experience/Summer Internship Programme on a pilot basis to help students registered with the service to get meaningful work experience during the summer months. Feedback from current students and past graduates has indicated that some students with a disability can have difficluty in accessing meaningful work experience while in college. This programme hopes to begin to address this issue.
You can get further information on Internship opportunities and meet with participating employers at our information event which will be held on Tuesday 14th April at 11am in ORB 1.23. You will also have an opportunity to meet and network with the employers on the day.
The internships are for current students registered with the DSS and are ideally suited to 2nd year and penultimate year students though 1st year students can also apply.
