LSD
Lyserg Saeure Diaethlyamid is a acid which can be found in ergot fungus. It is produced as a crystal and then turned into a colorless and odorless liquid which is usually then sprayed onto small tabs of paper.
LSD gives the user a disconnection from reality with a trip that can go from 6 to 12 hours whilst feeling all kinds of emotions. In a study that was done a few years back, they show the brain of a person under a placebo effect and the other under LSD (placebo is when your brain is tricked into thinking you have took something but in reality it was just a sugar pill or a substance that will cause no alteration to the brain) and these where the results.
Bad trips are a huge problem when taking LSD, since it hasn't been studied properly, you can't tell what type of trip you are going to get with a tab, these bad trips can cause feeling of panic, confusion, sadness and scary images. A huge influence is your mood while taking the tab, if you are feeling depressed, anxious or anything similar, chances are you will experience a bad trip.
