Stone’s Throw is a coffee-come-gift/homewares store situated in the small
farming town of Walgett, located in the heart of rural NSW. 700km north-
west of Sydney, 700km south-west of Brisbane, and officially located within
Outback NSW. I came to town in early 2014 and opened Stone’s Throw in
the middle of a rip-roaring drought that was 2 years in (and still going!).
Despite this, the resilient community of Walgett welcomed me with open
arms and never looked back. It is a truly unique and special community to
have joined, and I thank each and everyone of our customers for supporting
me over the last four years.
