The Team

Get the low-down on all the goss!

Unfortnately Matt and Luke of eighties pop-band, Bros, couldn't do an interview, so I had to take a different tack with our 'goss' section. I went around the office last week to catch up with a few members of the team. This is what they had to say for themselves.

James Gorman - Editor

What have you been working on over the past month?

Reviews, reviews, reviews, reviews, reviews and even more reviews! I have also worked on an investment video for JR which we managed to pull together quite quickly.

What projects do you have just around the corner?

My next project involves lying on a Haad Rin beach in Ko Phangan smoking a cigar whilst a Thai midget massages my feet.

What are your mains strengths?

My cold stony exterior and my ability to make any human cry with a single glance, (I've only practiced this a few times, Thompy was one victim).

What task have you most enjoyed over the last three months?

Winding Andy up in new and hilarious ways, and avoiding the Douche Jar as I am awesome and still the only person not to enter.

The douche jar is a new addition to the studio. If you make an awful joke and nobody laughs, you have to put 10p in the jar. It’s filling up very quickly.

Marc Crompton – Editor Manager

What have you been working on over the past month?

I have worked on two Hotpoint Pre-rolls, contributing towards concepts, shooting and editing. I've also been involved in the procurement of photography equipment for studio 3.

I've been filming shots for James' Investment video he's been working on for JR, whilst helping my team catch up on checks and edits as much as I can. I've also been helping Lisa Manfredi asset tag every piece of valuable equipment we have.

What projects do you have just around the corner?

We're currently planning the next pre-roll for Samsung, The pre-roll focuses on the "Easy-reach" shelf in their fridge freezers, and it's going to be shot next month. I'm also going to continue editing reviews to get rid of the back log of edits we have.

What are your mains strengths?

An almost inhuman ability to keep cheery when coming face to face with the greatest of challenges....and headers.

What task have you most enjoyed over the last three months?

Everything to do with the Pre-rolls, start to finish.
