The fifth-generation
Chevrolet Camaro is a pony car
produced by General Motors
and marketed under the Chevrolet brand.It is the fifth distinct
generation of the
Camaro to be produced since
its original introduction in 1967.
Production of the new Camaro
began on March 16, 2009after
several years on
hiatus since the previous
generation’s production
ended in 2002 and went on sale
to the public in April 2009 for
the 2010 model year.
2014 model year update
Changes to Camaro include
a redesigned front and rear,
resulting in a wider, lower, more
contemporary appearance;
front fascia features a wider
lower opening, and a narrower
upper opening that also updates the appearance of the
iconic “halo ring” HID headlamps on the Camaro RS pack-

age, functional hood vent on
the Camaro SS, optional Recaro
seats with microfiber suede
inserts for SS and ZL1. Head-Up

Camaro Z/28 is a version of
Camaro SS with a full aerodynamic package designed to
produce downforce at track
speeds (a large splitter connected to an underbody panel,
fender flares over the front and
rear wheels, extended rocker
panels, redesigned rear spoiler
and functional diffuser), interior
trim in matte-metallic Octane
finish, flat-bottomed steering
wheel, standard Recaro seats
with microfiber suede inserts
and manual adjustment, elimination of the seat-back pass
through, high-density foam in
place of the rigid structure of
the seat back and steel mesh
of the seat bottom, 7.0L LS7
