Makes Considerable Upgrades to Driver Pay
Marten Transport, a Wisconsin based certified top paying carrier, recently announced two significant changes to driver pay. Marten drivers can now earn more than ever from holiday bonus pay and maintenance layover.“ We are continually working to ensure our drivers’ earnings remain at the top in our industry,” says Tim Norlin, director of recruiting for Marten Transport. Marten’ s holiday bonus pay will be raised to an industry leading $ 150 from its previous rate of $ 50. To qualify for the new holiday bonus, drivers must be available for dispatch the day before, the day of and the day after the holiday. This new holiday bonus pay went into effect during the August 4th holiday. The company’ s maintenance layover pay will increase from $ 25 per day to $ 100 per day, bringing it in line with Marten’ s operations layover pay.
