Is Coconut Water
Good for You?
After seeing all the benefits of coconut
water, most people do not have
reason to fear drinking coconut water.
Coconut water is proven to be an
excellent way to quench your thirst,
boost hydration, and increase your
intake of important vitamins, minerals,
and phyto-nutrients. But on the other
hand, one of the best-known coconut
water benefits such as an uncommonly
high amount of potassium (equals to
four bananas) is also the main reason
that drinking too much coconut water
may cause harm to your body. Because
too much drinking of coconut water
increases the potassium level in the
body and may bring many side effects.
Therefore, it is good to just limit the
intake of coconut water to a few
servings per day. It is indeed an all-
natural way to hydrate, cut sodium, and
add potassium to diets, but remember
to use good judgement while adding
this drink into your daily routine!
