Substance Misuse Officer

The LPD Partnership Support Team , part of Leicestershire Police are looking to appoint an experienced Substance Misuse Officer to provide effective , specialist support to the Force ’ s Strategic Leads , Police Officers , Police Staff , and multi-agency partners relating to drugs and alcohol misuse issues .
The post holder will assist in the management , development and delivery of policies , procedures , projects and partnership work that is affected by the misuse of drugs and alcohol .
You will support both the Force Strategic Lead with the delivery of the Force Plan for Substance Misuse and Safeguarding , and the Force Criminal Justice Lead to effectively deliver Drugs and Alcohol intervention services within the custody environment .
You must have substantial work experience of engaging with multi-agency partners in relation to drugs and alcohol misuse , and have proven experience of identifying good practice and benchmarking with other organisations .
