Substance Misuse Officer

The LPD Partnership Support Team, part of Leicestershire Police are looking to appoint an experienced Substance Misuse Officer to provide effective, specialist support to the Force’ s Strategic Leads, Police Officers, Police Staff, and multi-agency partners relating to drugs and alcohol misuse issues.
The post holder will assist in the management, development and delivery of policies, procedures, projects and partnership work that is affected by the misuse of drugs and alcohol.
You will support both the Force Strategic Lead with the delivery of the Force Plan for Substance Misuse and Safeguarding, and the Force Criminal Justice Lead to effectively deliver Drugs and Alcohol intervention services within the custody environment.
You must have substantial work experience of engaging with multi-agency partners in relation to drugs and alcohol misuse, and have proven experience of identifying good practice and benchmarking with other organisations.
