I have no first impression , as I am local and lived for years in the 8th district . I have memories , I ’ ve been making new ones , I felt quite at home right now as well It was comfortable I didn ’ t feel afraid . The ruined environment is the most inspirational .
I see many opportunities here . I love the diverse environment , buildings , colours , smells , people and life situations .

This experience also taught us that time is an important feature of the walk , which makes you involved in the situation rather than being a passive watcher .
Originally , we used the word scent through its literal meaning : a denotation of the sense of smell .
The etymology of the word led us to the Old French sentir , meaning perceive . The noun means distinctive smell , especially one that is pleasant , as well as being a trail of evidence or signs assisting someone in a search or investigation . This meaning enabled us to develop an investigatory language of seeing which was based in all the senses .
The fundamental idea of our project was to truly understand an area by being present and developing these investigatory tools of seeing , smelling , talking , meeting and living in one particular place .
Being present in a situation is fundamental to true perception .
We decided to focus on a place where we could be part of the scene ; a place that was constantly changing and commuted across by different people . As our starting point was Blaha ; a place that deeply imprinted on our minds , we used the square as our focal point for the project .
Our aim was to discover what is and who is Blaha , to see every part of this body , an organism which is a constantly changing entity .
We spent a sustained period of time in Blaha Lujza Ter . Through film and audio , we documented every angle and aspect of the square . We filmed over the space of 24 hours to see
