Connects a relatively local area of Buda to Margaret Island and Szent István Krt . which leads onto Nyugati station . Packed full of people , good view of the Parliament . Tourists flock to Margaret Bridge for a sense of ‘ retreat ’ from the city . Connects the city to this leisurely park which holds running tracks , gardens and a small zoo . Accidental explosion damaged bridge in 1944 , killing 600 civilians .
