When news broke that much loved fashion designer, Oscar de la Renta had passed away many took to Instagram to share their thoughts and admire his artistic work and wonderful designs.
Oscar de la Renta passed away on the 21st of October, 2014. The well-known, established fashion designer from Dominian had been suffering from cancer had died at the age of 82.
The designer, who was known for his gorgeous glamourous red carpet dresses was a favourite of Hollywood acrtresses and female celebrities.
In 2013 he won the founder's award at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York and was honoured at the 2014 Medal of Excellence Gala at Carnegie Hall in New York. Only recently Sarah Jessica Parker wore one of his dresses to the Met Gala earlier this year. ▪
