resolutions bring illusions
Once we've made our Christmas wish list, our pens prepare themselves for another list; brace yourself for the arrival of the New Years Resolutions.
We've all been there and done it, whether it was to get the Beyoncé figure, to eliminate all junk food from our diets or to take up a gym membership. All of which sound great and would of course make the year a good one if they were to be achieved, but why is it that so many of us write resolutions which we just simply fail to achieve?
According to Forbes last year, only 8% of Americans actually completed their New Years Resolutions, and I can imagine that that figure is not much different for the UK.
The chances are, the statements we wish for on our resolutions list are probably things that we want to see improve in our lives on a daily basis, obviously so, as it becomes enough of an issue that we want to overcome it next year. But surely it's better to help resolve the problem when it arises and not wait until next year! If someone says that they'd like to spend more time with their family next year, then why wait, they should go and visit a relative within a few days, that way a minor milestone

tom ford gets procreative
He's not one to shy away from sending rather exposing pieces down the catwalk so is it hardly shocking that Ford has given us some serious penis envy - and yes, that is a term used by Freud (who else). The designer has now created his very own golden penis, and the fun doesn't end there, the gold 18k necklace is worth £500, yes, that's right, £500 to wear a golden penis around your neck. And let's be honest, who wouldn't be proud (and slightly, very daring if you can put up with the stares). What has the world come to you may ask. On a more positive note however, if you're worried that the golden penis will be too common, there is also a silver version and believe it or not, they come in small, medium and large - I guess it's important to please all, right? ▪
