beyoncé's line for topshop
Beyoncé has been a huge fan of Topshop for a good few years now and has regularly expressed her love for the brand. Whenever she's in London she tends to make time for her traditional Oxford Circus trip to Topshop where the storet gets closed for her own personal shopping trip.
Having been hailed 2014's most influential person it seems that what Beyoncé wears, most people want to wear.
On one of her Topshop shopping sprees in London in February earlier this year the singer got in contact with Sir Phillip Green, head of Arcadia. Beyoncé made it pretty clear that she was keen to collaborate with the brand and Green was more than welcoming. By May or June the light conversation bout the subject had become much more in-depth with the agreement that the collaboration would have an athletic theme to it, including clothes, footwear and accessories for dance, fitness and sports.
Bey has even decided to create her own split company with Topshop called 'Parkwood TopShop Athletic Ltd.' as the singer explained she was eager to beging working on the collection. She revealed 'I could not think of a better partner as I continue to grow the Parkwood business.'
Bey also revealed her intentins with Topshop 'I have always loved TopShop for their fashion credentials and forward thinking' said Beyoncé. 'Working with their development team to create and produce a technica and fashion led collection is exciting and I’m looking forward to participating in all aspects of this partnership.'
The collection is yet o be given a name but it set to be released in Autumn 2015. It is believed that Bey and Green are looking to hire a creative director, two designers (one for sportwear and one for fashion) and someone to run the business.
Lets not forget that this is Beyoncé's secon clothing line. If we cast our minds back to 20014 you may remember her collection House of Deron, which she worked on with with her mouth Tina.
Whether she's on stage with hubby Jay-Z or posing for candids with her child Blue-Ivy, Beyoncé always seems to have her own unique style. One which is
