She is the Sun,
her light shines so bright it hurts my
eyes sometimes,
I look at her anyway,
as she rolls across the sky bringing
light to a newly born in darkness day,
beautiful heavenly body, her summer
heat makes me sweat, her skin burns
like fire, our skin is water wet,
in the winter she keeps me warm,
bathing me in a rays of affection, all I
ever wanted was her love and
protection,
she is with me on the beach with the
waves, crashing one by one, the winds
little slaves,
without her the sand would be cold and
dark, life itself could not exist, without
her simplest little spark,
she is worshiped for being a provider,
grower of the grain, creator of the fire,
I love her deeper than all of the stars in
the sky combined, the world is a
brighter place when its her light I find.
