As the wine tour-bus approached Michael crammed the box into his shorts pocket, and covered the bulge with his arm for most of the short drive to the first win- ery. Once they arrived at the first winery Kristen and Michael meandered into the wine tasting room, and unbeknownst to Kristen, Michael gave “that look” to the Tour guide (she was in on the engage- ment) and the guide said “would you two like to take some photos in front of the beautiful scenery?” During this impromptu photo-op Michael turned to Kristen, and said “there is something that I’ve wanted to ask you for a long time.” He proceeded to get down on one knee, and the rest, as they say, is history (she said yes, obvi- ously.) THE DECOR INSPIRATION Informal but soft and pretty. I LOVE blush and gold, together it was a no brainer for our color scheme. We just wanted it to be one big party, and that it was. Our biggest splurges were our honeymoon, food and drinks. That’s exactly how we wanted it. Oh... and flowers! There was no cutting corners for flowers for me.
