Freedom Seekers
By Stormie and Makayla
It’s about freedom and equality, and racism, and hatred. Because of Marines (those protecting our country), they keep our peace in. Hatred and racism can’t get into the peace, but freedom and equality can. The background is weaving, or forming together. The circle of the peace sign means it’s a unit, the pop tabs are for recycling. Paint, cloth, pop tabs, paper, glue, fabric paint

Did you enjoy this project? Yes, because it taught our group teamwork and how to sew and iron and other art skills. Our favorite part is when we tie-dyed our flag. Our least favorite part is when we had to sew the buttons on. Felt, buttons, thread, paint, fabric, needle, tie-dye, ribbon

Creative Peace Keepers
By Cecelia and Rose
We had hearts for LOVE and a road was to represent travel because you have to have freedom to do that. The tombstones represent the veterans we are very thankful for. The flags are to represent the progress of the country we live in. Our favorite part was doing the project and finally seeing it done.
