Terry Totten stands on the loud pedal in Mark Howard ’ s “ Altered Mind ” Toyota
Camry Funny Car , sending header flames flying well above the roof line of the X-ray-vision-wrapped body . Totten , who owns and usually drives his own NHRA Top Fuel dragster , was tapped to prepare , tune and drive Howard ’ s car in its debut at the Funny Car Chaos Nitro Madness race . Totten qualified 19th in the incredible 68-car qualifying order with a 3.86 in the eighth mile .
