EDELBROCK / MUSI 555 CRATE ENGINES
Since 2004 , legendary racer and engine builder Pat Musi has partnered with Edelbrock Performance to develop high-horsepower street engines in the Edelbrock / Musi Crate Engine Program . While Musi is known for building some of the quickest and fastest nitrous-fed racing engines in the world , like the massive Musi 959ci engine , he also builds dependable engines for the street .
The Edelbrock / Musi 555 crate engine program borrows from both disciplines , as the engines are competition ready yet ultra-reliable for daily street driving . The line includes three different configurations , with each tuned to run on 91-octane pump gas .
Edelbrock / Musi 555 engines are custom built by Musi and his team at Pat Musi Racing Engines in Mooresville , North Carolina . Customers receive a one-on-one call with Musi to discuss their setup . Each engine also includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Musi and exclusive 555 Owners Club decals . The engines are available with 0 % interest-free financing through Affirm .
Edelbrock / Musi 555 Carbureted
• Assembled by Pat Musi .
• Edelbrock components including CNC-ported aluminum cylinder heads , Victor Jr . intake manifold , forged 10.0:1 pistons , forged steel crank , AVS2 Series 800 CFM carburetor , Rollin ’ Thunder hydraulic roller cam and valvetrain , and Max-Fire ignition system .
• 676 horsepower with 649 ft-lbs of torque .

• Pro-Flo 4 Fuel Injection .
• Includes intake manifold , fuel injectors , fuel rails , throttle body , ECU , handheld calibration module , billet distributor , complete harness , O2 sensor & bung , fuel hose , hardware and software .
• 697 horsepower with 643 ft-lbs of torque .

• Pro-Flo 4 XT Fuel Injection .
• System includes intake manifold , fuel injectors , fuel rails , O2 sensors & bung , throttle body , ECU and handheld calibration module .
