Over 10 years after becoming the first driver to pilot a nitrous-fed doorslammer to a 5-second , 240 mph pass in the quarter mile , Jim Halsey made history yet again as he wheeled his Fulton-powered ’ 68 Camaro to another barrier-breaking pass , this time becoming the first big-tire nitrous car to dip into the 3.50s at over 210 mph in the eighth mile .
