Mississippi ’ s Holly Springs Motorsports hosted Chad Axford ’ s Mississippi Madness event , featuring three full days of bracket racing in Super Pro , No Box and Jr . Dragster classes . The late summer weather was favorable all weekend and racers came out in huge numbers to support the event . Arkansas racer Cody Graham has experienced lots of success on the Holly Springs eighth mile and this meet was no exception , as he drove his Camaro to victory back-to-back days in Super Pro . Hodge , and used a holeshot to seal the victory . Graham ran 6.389 on a 6.36 dial , while Hodge clocked 5.752 on a 5.74 dial . Graham ’ s . 5157 was enough to hold off Hodge , who left the line with a . 538 reaction time .
In Foot Brake , Charlie Lockhart turned in the better package against Tommy Jackson II . Lockhart , from Mayfield , Kentucky , ran just above his dial-in with a 6.150 on a 6.14 . This final round was up for grabs after they scored nearly identical reaction times , but Jackson slowed to a 6.251 on a 6.22 dial , giving the win light to Lockhart .

On Saturday , Graham picked up right where he left off , with another win in Super Pro . On day two , Graham squared off against Brandon Seale , who hails from Pontotoc , Mississippi . In what turned out to be an incredible race to the finish , both drivers scored nearly perfect reaction times , backed up with both competitors running their dial-ins , with Graham scoring the razor-thin margin of victory .
In Saturday ’ s Foot Brake class , Tommy Jackson II had another solid outing , making it to the finals
