■ Sparks fly out from the underside of Kevin Lanning ’ s nitrous-assisted Fox-body Mustang as he slows down in the shutdown area at Shadyside Dragway during the track ’ s Carolina Nitrous Nationals . The longtime No-Time racer was competing in the Small-Block Nitrous class at the race , which was a part of Lance Stanford ’ s Carolina N / T Productions series .
