Zimmerman , Minnesota ’ s Dave Engler roasts the slicks on his ‘ 70 Dodge Charger R / T during the King of the Track race at his home track , Brainerd International Raceway . The day before , Engler won in Pro ET . He was the Super Pro runner-up at the track ’ s first points race of the 2020 season after a long offseason extended by the coronavirus shutdown . Engler also represented BIR on its Pro ET team at the NHRA West Central Division ET Finals in Topeka , Kansas in September . Racing Dodges is a family affair for Engler , as his son , Nick , races his grandfather ’ s ‘ 69 Dodge Coronet at BIR and even won a track championship in 2018 .
