Trans Am in the opening round of eliminations in the Top Sportsman Ultimate 48 race at the Shakedown Nationals XVIII . Royer , of Peach Bottom , Pennsylvania , qualified No . 35 in his 632ci-powered Pontiac and was fighting for a first-round win over Thomas Brown when he got out of shape and had to lift .
