SAVER SAVES MORE
THAN THE OIL PAN
■ The S&W Performance Group has
introduced their latest bolt-on Mus-
tang drag racing product. The new
Pan Saver Kit is engineered to pro-
tect oil pans and other low ground
clearance components, from being
crushed and ruptured during ex-
treme front suspension compression.
The Pan Saver Kit will shield 1979-
2004 Mustang undercarriages, from
those often unpredictable and harsh
wheel stand landings. The easy to
install do-it-yourself kit will add
safety and confidence during every
launch from the starting line. S&W’s
President, Michael Weney, stated
“Non-wheelie bar classes are gaining
popularity, which has consequently
caused an increase in under car dam-
age. Ford Mustangs are campaigned

in many of these classes, and our line
of bolt-on Mustang components was
overdue for something new. The re-
lease of our new Pan Saver Kit is a
win-win for all.”
Each kit includes; (2) TIG weld-
ed mild steel tubular pan savers
and (2) body shims, which are se-
cured with the existing hardware.
The kit is designed to be used in
conjunction with many aftermar-
ket K-Members and A-Arms. Cus-
tomers will have their choice of a
silver powder coat finish or unfin-
ished bare steel. Custom finishes
are available and optional. S&W’s
Pan Saver Kit, other competition
and performance street parts are
hand crafted at their Spring City,
PA manufacturing facility.
