Carl Stevens Sr. is clearly intense and focused as he straps his son, 2018 World
Series of Pro Mod event champion Carl Stevens Jr., into Jim Bell’s twin-turbo
‘69 Camaro before making the first Friday shakedown pass. Stevens, who was
unstoppable on Thunder Mountain last year, wounded one of his Xtreme Racing
Engines-built powerplants later in the day and was ultimately knocked out of
commission after hurting another engine in his 6.059-second first-round win
over Dave Walters on Saturday.
