Still, Buginga got up on the wheel and used a holeshot advantage to stay ahead of Hull’s 4.409 at 163.08 with a 4.416 at 160.92 in his Jamie Miller-tuned, DiSomma-powered ride in the final round. ■ MANNY BUGINGA ULTRA STREET JOEL GREATHOUSE ■ JOEL GREATHOUSE and his ’93 Mustang swept Ultra Street, qualifying No. 1 with a record-setting 4.625 and charging through a loaded field with a string of high-4.6-second passes. The turbocharged, KBX-powered entry ran a 4.672 at 156.32 in the final round, while Brian Keep redlighted away a 4.715 in his Pro- Charged-boosted ’98 Camaro. ■ JOEL GREATHOUSE LIMITED DRAG RADIAL SHANE STACK ■ ■ SHANE STACK IT WAS HARD to bet against Alabama’s Shane Stack, who earned his third consec- utive Lights Out victory in Limited Drag Radial when he fired off a 4.118 at 180.86 over Chad Hen- derson’s 4.352 in the final round. Stack’s “Thrill- billy” ’86 Monte Carlo was deadly consistent with its 4.1-second passes, displaying how and why Stack won the 2018 LDR season championship.
