THE WA PRESENTED BY 800-222-9092 www.MickeyThompsonTires.com THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE While Stevie “Fast” Jackson was declared the winner of the Drag 965/Nitrous Outlet Burnout Contest by the panel of judges, Marc “The Rodfather” Caruso was named the “People’s Choice Award” winner after laying down this long, smokey burnout well past the 330-foot mark. Unlike the other Burnout Contest competitors, who chose to forgo their shakedown pass in the interest of doing an excessive burnout, Caruso stopped his Caruso Family Racing ‘69 Camaro, backed it up to the starting line and made what he felt was one of the quickest passes of the evening. The combined effort was most impressive and elicited a roaring response from the crowd.
