HE’S BACK
After sitting out the last few PDRA races of the 2017 season to tend
to family and business priorities at home in Saltillo, Mississippi,
past Pro Extreme world champion Jason Scruggs returned to the
all-eighth-mile series at its season-opener, the PDRA East Coast
Spring Nationals. Driving Roger Henson’s screw-blown ‘69 Camaro,
eerily similar to his own “Mississippi Missile”, Scruggs faced a
variety of experiences, from this mid-track wheelstand to a low-ET-
of-the-weekend 3.521-second pass at 219.83 MPH.
