specially designed bolts. They’re
forged from 200,000 psi chrome
moly steel and threads are rolled
after heat-treat to increase fatigue
strength. Special shank and
12-point head design assures
optimum retention.
ARP likewise has specially
designed clutch and torque
converter bolts that are made
from 200,000 psi material and
have precision J-form threads
rolled after heat treat to
significantly improve fatigue
strength.
Special polished stainless steel
studs enable you to quickly glide
the bellhousing and transmission
into position and solidly secure
them—given that the studs are
significantly stronger than
Grade 8 hardware.
Polished stainless steel and black
oxide finished 8740 chrome moly
bolts are also available by size
in handy 5-packs and great for
rear end, pinion support and
U-joint attachment. Use them
in suspension components too.
Available up to ½” x 6” length
in SAE coarse, fine and metric
threads.
