During the second round of qualifying for the PDRA Nationals in Tulsa, Snider annihilated the standing class record with a jaw-dropping 3.486-second eighth-mile blast – the second-quickest pass ever recorded by a suspended car. Interestingly, Snider’s Bickel-built ’69 Camaro utilizes a prototype Liberty Extreme two-speed transmission – essentially a monstrously beefed-up version of the transmission used in Pro Stock.
