Note: This measure applies only to multifamily homes. All shingle roofing must carry a 3-year subcontractor warranty and at least a 20-year manufacturer’s warranty. VEGETATED ROOF
CRITERIA FOR QUALIFICATION Up to four points of credit may be given for covering a percentage of the total roof area with a vegetated roof, as follows: ? ? Two points for a minimum of 25% of the total roof area Four points for a minimum of 50% of the total roof area
Use the best available practices in structure, waterproofing, soil design, plant selection, and maintenance to install the vegetated roof. The percentage of the roof area is measured on the horizontal plane. Intensive or extensive roofs receive equal credit.
