FSC-CERTIFIED WOOD
CRITERIA FOR QUALIFICATION This measure is available for partial credit based on the percentage of framing that meets the specific criteria of the measure. Up to nine points of credit is available for using FSC-certified solid wood framing, oriented strand board, and plywood, as follows: D4.1. Dimensional Lumber, Studs, and Timber
Credit is granted based on the percentage of FSC-certified lumber used (calculated in board feet), as follows: ? ? ? Two points for a minimum of 40% Four points for a minimum of 65% Six points for a minimum of 90%
This measure includes all solid wood material used to frame a wall, floor, or ceiling. This measure applies to solid sawn lumber. D4.2. Panel Products

INTENT To promote the use of sustainably harvested materials as designated by the FSC. Documentation that substantiates the FSC certification of the materials, including an invoice, the chain of custody number from the vendor, and the FSC designation (i.e., 100% or Mixed-FSC) Calculations of the percentage of FSC-certified material versus non-FSC-certified material.
