The Legacy of Myiah Simone-Yvette X
Dr. Myiah Simone-Yvette X, born Myiah Simone-Yvette Davis to Angela R. Davis and Zettie J. Davis Jr. on June 1, 1992 was a phenomenal, mother, woman, and innovator. Myiah, raised by her mother Angela Davis, also known as“ Myiah the Bee”, by her older brothers was the youngest and only daughter of 4.
A Georgia native, Myiah graduated from Tucker High School in 2010 with a diploma of Honors and Distinction representing her first his scholastic achievement among many. After graduating from Tucker, Myiah went on to Hampton University, Hampton, VA, where she received her Bachelor’ s degree in Biochemistry in 2014. Myiah didn’ t stop there, she aspired to be an anesthesiologist and with many years of hard work and dedication, she would go on to attain this goal. Upon graduating from Hampton University in 2014, Myiah attended Morehouse School of Medicine to obtain a Masters in Medical Science in 2016, she then went on to Emory University for a M. D./ Ph. D. program where she obtained her M. D. from Emory University and her Ph. D. in Biochemistry from the University of California-Berkeley. After completing her residency, Myiah was an overqualified, Masters carrying, M. D. licensed, Ph. D toting anesthesiologist. Talk about doing the most!
Myiah was known for her determination, dedication, and dependable nature. She was always the person you could call on at any point in time who always has something to say. This woman could talk! Her warm, kind, and caring nature was exemplified in everything she did, and though she was nice, she was known not to take any mess from anybody.
In August 2016, Myiah married her husband [ blank ] X, and had 4 beautiful children, Junior, Renee’, and the twins [ blank ] and [ blank ]. Myiah or Dr. X, was a loving mother who supported her children in every aspect of their lives.
Dr. X will never be forgotten, seeing that her legacy of revolutionizing the field of anesthesiology has changed the way medicine is administered to patients today. Myiah determined the mechanism in which the body metabolizes different
