BIO

Dr. Goldina Erowele is a caregiver and a passionate clinical pharmacist with geriatric, ICU, ambulatory care and pharmaceutical experience. She has served as an adjunct professor and continue to serve as a preceptor to numerous schools of pharmacy and nursing. She has authored and coauthored several pharmacy journals article and a clinical & forensic chapter guide. She serves as a reviewer to multiple peer reviewed pharmacy journals including American Journal for Health System Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy, Pharmacy & Therapeutics Joural and American Geriartic Society Annual Conference.

She is the founder and editor in chief of CareNovate Magazine, a social health platform that provides empowering & educational caregiving insights, health literacy tips and medication safety resources. The audience includes caregivers, women, baby boomers, sandwich generation families and seniors.

Dr Erowele was a certified nursing assistant (CNA) prior to obtaining her doctor of pharmacy degree from Howard University College of Pharmacy. After completing a pharmacy residency program at the VAMC in Washington, D.C., she worked at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center as a pharmacotherapy specialist in areas of intensive care, geriatrics, formulary management, and intensive care.

Dr Erowele received the U.S. Army Commander’s Award for Civilian Service and the Mel Liter Clinical Pharmacy Award. She is a member of the Kappa Epsilon Society, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).

Dr. Erowele speaks and serves as a volunteer for Dress for Suceess – Houston, the Women Fund- Houston. She was featured in Empower Lounge, interviewed by Real Women onHealth Blog talk radio. She is a pharmacy expert to Sharecare.com and Healthywomen.org.
