australian curriculum: the arts now online 

  n the past few weeks the Australian Curriculum v6.0 was released which included the

all important strand of THE ARTS. This document provides teachers with the necessary

information about how each sub-strand will be implemented in schools. Thank you to the many esteemed members of the DQ community who advocated for this document and helped to bring it to life.

drama australia face to face meeting

Last month the Drama Australia board met in Sydney for a face-to-face meeting. As a member of Drama Queensland you are also a member of Drama Australia, whose board members advocate on your behalf for National Drama Education goals such as the new Australian Curriculum. The DA President, Colleen Roche, led the board through discussions including the Australian Curriculum and the upcoming DA National Conference: EVOLVE to be hosted by Drama Tasmania in October this year.
