Tae Kwon Do
Ages 6 –12
Tae Kwon Do is a Martial Art that uses
skilled application of punches, kicks, blocks,
and interceptions with the arms, hands,
and feet for self-defense. Class focuses on
discipline, breath control, and the balance
of mental and physical power. Open to
beginners to advanced students. Promotion
tests are held every two months for
participants who wish to advance in rank.
(Testing fee required.) Uniforms may be
purchased from the instructor. (Suggested
for all students; required for advanced

Hap Ki Do
Ages 6 –14
Hap Ki Do is a form of self-defense that
employs joint locks, grappling, and throwing
techniques similar to those of other martial
arts, as well as kicks, punches, and other
striking attacks.
Hap Ki Do employs both long-range and
close-range fighting techniques, and
emphasizes circular motion, redirection of
force, and control of the opponent. jc
