Adult Programs • Ages 14+ Plant something special this spring! Garden plots are provided through the courtesy of Commonwealth Edison and the Des Plaines Park District. The 20’ x 20’ garden plots are located east of Westgate Road adjacent to Terrace School between Thacker and Miller Streets. Plots will be plowed and made ready for planting as of May 1, weather permitting. In compliance with the Des Plaines Park District policy, we ask that you do not walk your dogs on the garden plots at any time. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the bike path adjacent to the garden plots. Garden Plot Rental Registration NEW this year, all Renters must register In Person! Registration must be done in-person at the Administrative & Leisure Center, 2222 Birch Street, Des Plaines, IL 60018. To reserve your previous plot(s), you must bring in a photo ID and proof of residency (i.e. utility bill). Returning RESIDENT Renters Registration ONLY! Registration for Return Resident Renters is available now through February 28th. Returning resident renters can only rent up to two of their previously rented plots per household. If you would like a new plot site, Residents will be able to register Monday, March 10th. Cooking Series with Chef Ed Ages 14+ In our newly remodeled kitchen!
