Summer special events FORT BUILDING FUN Ages 4+ Join us in nature as we use simple natural materials to build something truly amazing. There is no age limit to the fun of building forts and working with others to create a special place all their own. This program will allow children to forge lasting memories, connect with nature, and be part of an awe inspiring collaborative project. Kids, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles will all enjoy a fun and informal 3-mile walk—or run if you like—around Lake Park in this annual “glowing” event. The course is set up in a 1-mile loop, so you can opt to walk/run 1 mile, 2 miles, or the full 3 miles. Participants will acquire some glow-in-the-dark items along the way.
