returns with a new name!
The Dash Through Des Plaines
continues the tradition of our annual
5k, where the people are fun, the
community comes out to cheer, and
it’s all for a great cause:
The Park District Scholarship Fund.
Proceeds from The Dash provide
programs, activities, and education
for residents of Des Plaines.
The flat course—through tree-lined
streets in Downtown Des Plaines—is
the route we've run since 2006, and
is certified by USA Track & Field.
Starts & finishes on Prairie Avenue
at Pearson Street, but it doesn't end
there: The after-party is at Tap
House Grill in Metropolitan Square,
where the fun, food, and drinks go
on and on. Don't miss it!
