JOB INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS
• Starting wage: $10.50/hour
• Average 30–40 hours/week
• 6–10 hours/day
• Minimum 15 years of age
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings,
weekends, and July 4 th
• Certified Lifeguard Training, including CPR, AED,
Oxygen Support, and First Aid
• Recognize and rectify potential aquatic emergencies,
and decrease the occurrence of emergency situations
• Participate in routine in-service training to ensure
consistency and maintain an exceptional standard
of care

LIFEGUARD TRAINING COURSE
PREREQUISITES
• You must be at least 15 years of age,
prior to the start of the training
• Be at able to tread water for 1 minute,
using only your legs
• Swim 100 yards continuously, using the
front crawl or breast stroke
• Retrieve a 10 lb brick from a depth of 12 ft,
and swim to the side of the pool with it
