Free for children under age 5.
A Des Plaines tradition for 30 years,
the Community Concert Band has a wide
repertoire that ranges from the classics to
great Sousa marches, from contemporary
concert band standards to the latest pop
favorites and movie scores.
The band is actively seeking members
for all sections. For more information

Footnotes Performing Troupe
Ages 6–17
Are you Broadway bound? Join the
Footnotes Performing Troupe and take
your first steps towards the Great White
Way. Participants learn to sing & dance
with style and confidence from an
experienced, passionate staff that can
help every performer improve upon their
technique and stage presence. Footnotes
performs in a variety of group numbers in
December including at the Annual Winter
Wonderland Festival at the Frisbie Senior
Center on December 6 and 7, and at
Artistry in Motion’s Winter Dance Concert
on December 12 and 13. ns

adults. Each lesson is tailored to the
individual student’s ability. Instruction in
rock, alternative, blues, folk, jazz, and
classical is available. Guitar rentals are
available through the Ultimate School of
