A
Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl
who died in Hitler’s concentration camp
alongside hundreds of other Jewish people
during the holocaust. She is famous for her
book “The Diary of A Young Girl.”
Anne was born in Germany on the 12 th of June
1929 and died early in 1945 at the age of 15. When
the Nazis gained control over Germany and began
to persecute the Jews, Anne and her family went
into hiding. It was during this period that she
started to make entries in her diary which had
been given to her as a gift for her 13 th birthday.
After many months Anne and her family were
discovered and taken to Hitler’s concentration
camp where they died alongside other Jews. Anne’s
father survived the ordeal and was later handed
Anne’s diary, which he published; thus, Anne
became an author in death and a very famous one
at that. Some of her famous quotes include;
“I don’t want to have lived in vain like most people.
I want to be useful or bring enjoyment to all people,
even those I’ve never met. I want to go on living even

after my death.”
“Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news.
The good news is that you don’t know how great
you can be! How much you can love! What you can
accomplish! And what your potential is!”
“How noble and good everyone could be if, every
evening before falling asleep, they were to recall to
their minds the events of the whole day and consider
exactly what has been good and bad. Then without
realizing it, you try to improve yourself at the start
of each new day.”
“In spite of everything I still believe that people
are really good at heart. I simply can’t build up
my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion,
misery, and death.” “Riches can all be lost, but that
happiness in your own heart can only be veiled, and
it will still bring you happiness again, as long as
you live. As long as you can look fearlessly up into
the heavens, as long as you know that you are pure
within, and that you will still find happiness.”
“It’s really a wonder that I haven’t dropped all my
ideals, because they seem so absurd and impossible
