Anne Frank Eturuvie Erebor A Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl who died in Hitler’s concentration camp alongside hundreds of other Jewish people during the holocaust. She is famous for her book “The Diary of A Young Girl.” Anne was born in Germany on the 12 th of June 1929 and died early in 1945 at the age of 15. When the Nazis gained control over Germany and began to persecute the Jews, Anne and her family went into hiding. It was during this period that she started to make entries in her diary which had been given to her as a gift for her 13 th birthday. After many months Anne and her family were discovered and taken to Hitler’s concentration camp where they died alongside other Jews. Anne’s father survived the ordeal and was later handed Anne’s diary, which he published; thus, Anne became an author in death and a very famous one at that. Some of her famous quotes include; “I don’t want to have lived in vain like most people. I want to be useful or bring enjoyment to all people, even those I’ve never met.
