Editor’s Letter
Dear Readers,
Welcome to September! Finally, the anniversary issue of DOZ Magazine is
here. Yippee!!! We began this journey for a second time, a year ago and we are
extremely grateful to God who has brought us this far. We are also grateful to
you, for coming with us on this journey the last 365 days. Your presence made
the journey easier. In its first outing, DOZ Magazine never made it to the first-
year anniversary as it was discontinued within the year. So, you can appreciate
why we’re super excited.
In my last letter, I did mention that there will be some changes to your magazine.
One major change, which I will mention here is the addition of the DOZman
column. DOZman became a part of the old DOZ Magazine just before it was
discontinued and we have included it in the new DOZ Magazine due to popular
demand. The column will feature an interview called DOZman Inspiration, and
we hope that each interview will inspire our male readers in their pursuit of God
and purpose.
Our DOZman Inspiration numero uno is Pastor Samson Iyayi. He is a parenting
expert and helps parents, fathers particularly, lead their children better. He
Eturuvie Erebor
believes that fathers should be more involved in parenting and I agree with him.
Our DOZ That Inspire You, is, Pastor Aity Dennis. Her story will blow you away. It blew me away. She has
had many challenges, and through it all, she has not lost her smile. How she does it, I know not. But she
has gone from waiting over two decades to bear children, to suffering paralysis and then death. Yes, she
died, went to heaven, listened to the heavenly choir sing and returned to her body. She has seen it all and
is alive to tell the story. I am honoured for the opportunity to share her inspiring testimonies with you.
We have included in this issue an awesome story, The Epitome of Flesh by Temi Micah-Grace. It is based
on the tale of the foolish young man and the adulteress found in Proverbs 7, and it gave me the chills the
first time I read it. We included it for our male readers, but I think the women need to read it too. I hope
it blesses you tremendously.
I look forward to seeing you same time next month.
