A Command!
Have I not commanded you? Be
strong and courageous. Do not be
frightened, and do not be dismayed,
for the Lord your God is with
wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9
Who’s that standing by the wall
As you go through the gate?
Do you feel so very small?
Do you almost faint?
Do you see a shadow there
With every step you take?
Does a sign say, “Be aware!”
With every turn you make?
Is Fear pressing down on you?
But what did God command?
“Be courageous. Be not afraid
For you are in my hand.”
Is there a place where God is not?
Does He ever leave us?
God is there wherever you go
In Him we must put our trust.
Fun Fact: God will never leave us.
