Editor’s letter Dear Readers, Eturuvie Erebor Christmas is here again and perhaps you’re already wondering what gifts to buy for family and friends. Have you considered making the gifts yourself? Jovana has handed us recipes for making amazing beauty products that we can give to friends and family this Christmas. We are pleased to bring you the last edition of DOZ Magazine for the year 2016! Looking back, we are in awe at all God has done for us during this year and we express our gratitude to Him even as we look forward to more of His goodness in the coming year! I am very excited about this issue. The stories and articles blessed me tremendously and I just couldn’t wait to put them in your hands. All the way from the Bahamas, we have brought you Charisa Munroe. Charisa is the daughter of Dr. Myles and Mrs. Ruth Munroe. As you probably already know, both her parents were killed two years ago when their plane hit a crane at a ship yard near the Grand Bahama International Airport. Losing one parent is devastating, and I know this from personal experience. Losing both parents is even more devastating, again I know this from personal experience. But losing both parents at the same time is probably the hardest thing anyone can be asked to deal with. In DOZ That Inspire You, Charisa Munroe speaks about life without her parents, her memories of them, the values they taught her and how those values have helped her to daily push past the pain and walk triumphantly in their shoes. Charisa is a beautiful, intelligent and very courageous young woman and I am certain that with God’s help she will successfully carry on the legacy of her late parents. Her story has inspired me and I am sure it will do the same for you. GiGi Mezzio shows us Four Steps to Better Communication. These communication tips can be applied to all kinds of relationships. So, if you’re having relationship problems, this is one article you want to read. Christmas is here again and perhaps you’re already wondering what gifts to buy for family and friends. From Annmarie Givans, we have a very interesting article on divine healing, titled, “Walk into Your Promise.” God has promised us divine health and it is time to walk in the reality of that promise. And if you’re looking for some creative ways to decorate your home this Christmas, look no further than Rebecca’s “Jingle All The Way with These Exciting DIYs This Christmas.” As usual we have the extra bits to make you merry. Marilyn Smith has shared with us another “From the Family Table” recipe. And Julie Clark has sent in the poem, “A Word to the Church.” I have included two articles of my own, “Adversity Will Push You into Greatness. Allow it” and “Leadership Lessons from the Marriage of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston.” I look forward to seeing you same time next month. Have a Merry Christmas! DOZ Magazine | December 2016 | 3 «
