Welcome to the 13th issue of DOZ Magazine. It is the third
since our re-launch in September, and we have been making
tremendous progress. I’m sure you will be pleased to hear that
DOZ Magazine now has a monthly devotional book titled, DOZ
Devotional. It was released on the 1st of October, and it has been
causing quite a stir amongst readers; to God alone be all the glory.
You can purchase DOZ Devotional Volume 1 from Amazon or
borrow to read on your Kindle device.
This is, without a doubt, our best issue thus far, because the
path of the just is as the shining light that shines more and more
unto the perfect day. All the way from Lagos, Nigeria, we have
brought you the intriguing story of an extraordinary Daughter
of Zion, Pastor Adenike Lamai. She is the founder of Hadassah
Healing Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)
that is committed to the healing and restoration of women.
Currently, hundreds of women have acquired vocational and life
empowerment skills, courtesy of Hadassah Healing Foundation.
Hundreds more have experienced the touch of God at the yearly
Hadassah Healing Conferences, which hold within and outside the
shores of Nigeria. I have attended the conferences of Hadassah
Healing Foundation on two occasions and felt the move of God
with testimonies to show; hence, it was an honour to visit Pastor
Adenike Lamai in her office at the Hadassah Secretariat in Lagos
and interview her for DOZ That Inspire You. Interestingly, she is
a woman who ran from God, but He caught her in the end, and I
am glad that He did! I enjoyed interviewing her, and I am sure you
will love reading her story as well.
All our usual columns are fully packed with a lot of exciting
articles, which I am certain you will enjoy reading. Angela Steele
has sent in a brilliant article, “Release and Freedom” for the “Love,
Courtship, and Marriage” column.
Winter is here again and if your skin is already reacting
accordingly, don’t despair because Jovana has returned to show
us “The Best Natural Skin Care During Cold Days.” This, is under
the “Grace and Beauty” column.
For “Your Body is a Temple,” Dr. Ellen has sent in an article on
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) including the symptoms and
treatment.
Also, before you call in the plumber to fix your blocked kitchen
sink, proceed to the “Home Sweet Home” column where Grace
Henshaw has shared some DIY tips for unblocking the sink.
We have a few extras thrown in to spice things up. Marilyn
Smith has sent in two recipes from her Aunt, Trudy; which she
has captioned, “From the Family Table: Thanks, Aunt Trudy! Two
Southern Recipes from the Heart of Dixie!”
And from yours truly, there are two articles, “Leadership
Lessons from the Proverbs 31 Woman,” and “Do Not Give Up on
Your Dreams.” I hope this inspires you to win!
I look forward to seeing you next month.
