2.2.2.5.11.4 Solve right triangles
This wizard is used to calculate missing values from a right triangle. The set of
parameters includes side lengths, angles, and trigonometric functions.
It
can be
accessed by
clicking on Wizard Button |
Geometry
and
Trigonometry | Solve right triangles.
To calculate the missing values:
Enter the known values.
Press "Solve step".
Select the values you wish to calculate.
Press "Solve step" or "Solve all" button to see the solution process.
If you need an explanation for any particular step, click on the step and then
click on the "Explain" button.
Remember that the angles to be entered must be between 0 and 90 if you
are working with Degrees, or between 0 and pi/2 if you are working with Radians.
(see Setting solution parameters)
Make certain that you enter exactly the right amount of data, and also that
you enter only the corresponding data values.
For example, if you enter the angle A, you can't also enter the sin(A).
