gul Rob Johnson is on his way to
Antarctica this month to kick off the
opening of his new housing devel-
opment in the most remote part of
the continent. ‘Things are getting
awfully tough in the Florida market
so I developed a new market in an
area that has been neglected by
less adventurous realtors and de-
velopers’ said Johnson.
The new project named “Cold A**
Ice Flats” features air conditioned
structures made of melt resistant
permafrost building blocks that will
range from 25 to 50 square feet.
The igloo styled
homes are be-
ing built in antic-
ipation of further
global warming.
Mr. Johnson said
that the perma-
frost construction
will withstand 50
years of melting at current melt
rates. Homes start at $1.5 M. and
include 500 acre low maintenance
sites - perfect for grazing up to
1000 assorted penguins.”
