The Douglas High girls basketball team improved to 14-3 overall and 6-1 in league play with a 50-33 win over Wooster in Reno Tuesday night.

Corryne Millet poured in 20 points and Maddy Lowe added 14 to lead the charge.

Leonna Mortimer scored seven points, Shayle Gransbery, McKenna Kynett, Genevieve Stodieck-Dreyer and Alissa Holley each had two points and Mandy Weaver added one.

BOYS

The Douglas High boys basketball team rolled to 61-32 win over Wooster Tuesday night in Reno to improve to 5-2 in league play.

Douglas rode its first-half defense to build a big lead, allowing just 11 points.

Sam Broersma led the Tigers with 13 points, Connor Lyons had 10 points, Jace Hart had nine points, Michael Johnson had seven points, Alex Tessmann and Tanner Souza each had five points, Zach Kellar and Tre Jackson each had four points .

and Jake Evans and Dylan Pfaffenberger each had two points.

Hart had six rebounds and Tessmann grabbed five and Kellar and Ben Nolting each had three assists.
